Cacao and Jungle Ritual Experience in Bribri
A hands-on journey to the roots of chocolate and ancestral wisdom
Today we begin by driving into the lush mountains of Bribri, in the heart of the Indigenous Territory, to spend the day with a Bribri family and experience chocolate like never before.
This is not a chocolate factory; it is a hands-on, heart-centered experience where you will learn how the Bribri people have been making cacao from scratch for generations, using the most authentic and traditional artisan methods.
Together, we will roast, grind, and transform cacao beans into pure ceremonial chocolate, while learning about the sacred connection between cacao and Bribri culture.
But the adventure does not end there. We will also explore their deep knowledge of the rainforest, learning about medicinal plants and traditional crops used in ancestral practices.
To finish the day in pure bliss, we will visit a nearby waterfall for a refreshing swim, followed by a natural cacao exfoliation ritual at the foot of the falls.
It is the perfect way to cleanse, reconnect, and celebrate the wisdom of the Earth.
